Did you resolve to start working out this year?!
In addition to its many fitness centers and gyms, Charlotte has a plethora of FABULOUS yoga studios. Charlotte neighborhoods Midwood, Elizabeth, NoDa, and Dilworth all have several great ones to offer! Whether you like your yoga slow-paced or you’ve totally fallen for heated vinyasas, Charlotte’s studios offer the full range of the yoga spectrum! Here are just a few of my favorites around town… leave me your favorite savasana-friendly spots about town in the comments section!
My Top 6 Charlotte Yoga Studio
Yoga One – Midwood and University – If hot yoga is your thing, this is the place! Both locations offer a state-of-the-art yoga experience with energetic and caring teachers.
Be Yoga – Dilworth – With fund workshops offered frequently, Be Yoga in the heart of Dilworth offers heated and regular classes. Check their schedule for upcoming workshops! There’s usually some pretty great ones around New Years!
Bella Vita Yoga – NoDa – The owners of Bella Vita share their love and zest for yoga with the Charlotte community. Here the teachings and philosophies of yoga are contagious. Great for the experienced yogi and the yoga novice.
Y2 Yoga – Cotswold – This spa-like atmosphere provides a space for your spirit to relax and your body to accept meditation and vinyasa offerings. Conveniently located in Cotswold Village Shops (Cotswold Shopping Center), grab lunch or dinner after class or get some of the Holiday shopping out of the way!
Johnston YMCA Yoga Classes – NoDa – The Johnston YMCA offers a selection of yoga classes from AM to PM throughout the week. Teachers at the Johnston are well-trained and have honed their yoga-teaching skills. A fabulous, (and free if you’re a member), way to prepare or unwind!
